Angband

Angband is a roguelike set in Tolkien’s world: you build a character, then dive through a hundred randomly generated levels of the pits beneath Angband to defeat Morgoth. It grew out of Moria and Umoria in the early 1990s and is still developed today.

This download is the DOS build of version 3.0.6.

How to set it up

1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\angband", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
4. Type angband.exe to start the game.
