Monuments of Mars

Monuments of Mars is a platform puzzle game set inside the alien structures on the surface of Mars. Each screen is a puzzle of switches, force fields and enemies. Todd Replogle made it before co-creating Duke Nukem.

3D Realms released all four episodes as freeware in 2009.

How to set it up

1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\marsfree", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
4. Type MARS1.EXE to start the game.
