Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Kazooie is a platformer developed by Rare for the Nintendo 64. It was both a commercial and a critical success.
For its time it stood out for its detailed graphics, sound and intricate level design, which helped make it the classic it is regarded as today.
The game was released in 1998 and re-released on the Xbox 360 in 2008. It was also included in the Rare Replay compilation for the Xbox One.
Several games set in the Banjo-Kazooie universe have followed, but the original is still the best-loved.
The texture packs on this page replace the game’s textures to give its worlds a different look, from higher-resolution versions of the originals to new painted and cel-shaded styles.
