Perfect Dark Port

What you need: A ROM of Perfect Dark, preferably the US Rev 1 version (ntsc-final, also called US V1.1), dumped from your own cartridge. US V1.0 also works but is not recommended; PAL and Japanese ROMs need a separate executable built for that region.

This is a native PC port of Perfect Dark, built from the Perfect Dark decompilation. It is released as automatic builds that update whenever the code changes, so the version shown is the build date.

It adds mouse and keyboard controls with proper mouse aim, widescreen, higher resolutions and frame rates, and support for modern controllers.

The download contains no game data. It asks for a ROM dumped from your own copy of the game (the US NTSC 1.1 version is the main one supported).

How to set it up

1. Extract the whole archive to a folder you can write to.
2. Create a folder named data next to the executable if it isn’t there.
3. Put your ROM in it, named pd.ntsc-final.z64.
4. Run pd.x86_64 (pd.x86_64.exe on Windows; on a 32-bit build the name has i686 instead of x86_64).
