N64 PC Ports
N64 PC ports run Nintendo 64 games as native Windows, Linux and macOS programs, with no emulator. They add things the original hardware couldn’t do, such as widescreen, high frame rates, higher resolutions and mods.
There are two ways they are made. Decompilation projects rewrite the game’s code by hand as C until it compiles back to the exact original game, which takes years but gives code that is easy to change. Ship of Harkinian and Ghostship are built this way. Recompilation projects use N64: Recompiled, a tool that translates the game’s machine code into C automatically, which is much faster but harder to modify. Zelda 64: Recompiled is the best-known example.
None of these downloads include the game itself. Each one asks for a ROM dumped from your own copy of the game.

Automobili Lamborghini: Recompiled is a native port of the N64 racer for Windows, Linux and Android, with widescreen, draw distance options and mod support.
Banjo-Tooie: Recompiled is a native port of Banjo-Tooie made with N64Recomp, for Windows and Linux, with widescreen and high refresh rates.
Banjo: Recompiled is a native PC port of Banjo-Kazooie made with N64: Recompiled, with widescreen, high frame rates, RT64 rendering and mod support.
BattleShip is a native port of Super Smash Bros. built from its decompilation, for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, with widescreen and co-op Classic mode.
Beetle Adventure Racing Recomp is a native Windows port of Beetle Adventure Racing! made with N64Recomp, with widescreen, 60 fps and a longer draw distance.
Bomberman 64: Recompiled is a native PC port of Bomberman 64 made with N64: Recompiled, with widescreen, high frame rates and RT64 rendering.
Bomberman Hero: Recompiled is a native PC port of Bomberman Hero made with N64: Recompiled, with widescreen and high frame rates. Releases are still betas.
Chameleon Twist: Recompiled is a native Windows port of Chameleon Twist made with N64Recomp, with widescreen and high frame rates. It needs the Japanese ROM.
Conker's Bad Fur Day: Recompiled is an early native PC port of Conker's Bad Fur Day made by static recompilation, for Windows, Linux and macOS.
DK64 Rekongpiled is a native PC port of Donkey Kong 64 made with N64: Recompiled, with widescreen, high frame rates and RT64 rendering.
